Workshop aiming at developing a Policy Brief on Transboundary negative adverse impacts of Oil Exploration and Exploitation in the Greater Virunga Landscape.

From the 4th to the 5th February 2016, the Greater Virunga Transboundary Collaboration(GVTC) is organizing a workshop at Ihusi Hotel in Goma (North Kivu- DRC), on a hot topic related to “Towards Developing a Policy Brief on Transboundary Negative Adverse Impacts of Oil Exploration and Exploitation in Greater Virunga Landscape”.
Oil is one of the emerging issues in the Greater Virunga Landscape and GVTC would like to invite participants at the workshop, selected among researchers, decision-makers, and other stakeholders from public and private sectors to come and share their experiences on the oil exploration & exploitation, regarding a responsible and sustainable conservation of biodiversity in the Greater Virunga Landscape.
